Exam Week

It follows the festive of exam mood for everyone. Everyone, especially, those my coursemates are busy mugging up the books. They gulp it like nobody's business every day in the morning till the dawn.

Final's approaching. Yet, there are still many mock tests which are irritating, driving every one physically and mentally crazy.

Physiology, Gross Anatomy, Embryology, Histolgy, Biochemistry.....My GOD. I haven't even started any study yet, needless to say REVISE.

It's not tough though, just that I wasted much time earlier in entertainment and didn't catch up in my studies that led me into this dilemma. Poor guy!!!

Feeling regret, I'm now planning to be a book eater. Or anyone can help me to get the memory bread from Doreamon? So that I don't have to memorise so hard!!!!

A new me?

Since ever I started my facebook in UM, I was given a new nickname, facebook king. Every time when everyone on his facebook will for sure see me facebooking there.

Until yesterday, I was given another nickname, burger king! On Monday night, I ordered 43 burgers for my coursemates and got the fame. Then, last night, I didn't say that I want to buy the burger, sms already in for the orders. Haha, since so highly demanded and I didn't have any idea yet what for my supper, I decided KL gate burger again!

Tomorrow will be my exam and yet now you can still see me so leisurely writing my blog and facebooking. In fact, I haven't really started my revision. Im waiting to fail my first corness.

Okay okay, really have to start my study already!! Tomorrow after 12pm will be the start of my one week holiday!! Who wants to find me???

The new yet ordinary me

Sorry as it has been so long since the last time I posted my post here. I've been busy fb-ing and outing. Haha. Wonderful and contented lifestyle right?

Really, after orientation, found out myself had gained more weight than before, thanks to my buddies who always treat me nice food especially SUPPER!

Lifestyle has changed to a more marvellous and tempting one. Every night will have activities or even every second. I'm now a little bit regret because next week is my corness and yet now I still haven't touched my books yet.

Sorry also for some of my friends whom I'm not be able to accompany or find recently. Hope that I can adjust my time better after next week HOLIDAY!!! Woahuuuu!

Sadly to say that, during orientation, I've changed to become a more serious and not talkative guy. But after that, I've revealed the real me. I just heard from my friend that I was so cocky till I offended some of my coursemates. Really? I really didn't know when.

Result day

Couldn't really sleep last night. Today, the time walked per second like per hour.

Not so soon, it reached 11am. Then only I knew that the government changed to 12pm can only check.

I was trying to diverge my focus and anxious by chatting with my friends online. Suddenly, my friend Eric told me in msn to check the result.

Trip to Cameron

Adventure has yet to end. A day just back from KL, our next destination was Cameron Highlands.

Owing to the birthday of Agong, it was a public holiday and everyone was flocking to the same destination and thank God that there's only one road along the highlands that leads to every tourist spot. That's why, a massive jam was caused, thanks to those motorists who looked for the parking bays.

The most memorable was the first stop, the fried mushrooms, the salad, the last stop. Haha. Great fun there, just sad that someone not there with me also.

Trip to KL

Today just came back from KL. I went there to settle my brother's loan, as well thought of visiting my cousin's hostel. But sadly, due to short of time, we didn't. But don't worry brother, I will, for sure, visit you one day. We went to One Utama to go for shopping and luncheon only.

Rejected but not dejected

On last friday, I was informed that the list of candidates who successfully got into USM was out. Quickly, I went to check.

It turned out to be my application was unsuccessful. I was like, wow, so happy!! IN cloud nine! Because I didn't want to go to Kelantan for medic also, it's too far and damn tedious and dangerous along the journey, and time-consuming.

Anyway, congrats to all my friends who successfully got into USM and for those who didn't, wish we can be in same Uni. Haha.

Getting through this whole week was a tough one. Thank God that I still have a group of best friends beside me, supporting me.

I miss my Dad

Suppose I on Monday was a great day after coming back from the interview in Kelantan the day before.

After fetching my mum back from work, it was around 6pm, I suddenly heard someone's calling my house. Thank God that my house phone there's a caller ID. It was a call from my Dad. But then when I picked it up, no one answered. So I called back to see why he paged for me. Surprisingly, another guy answered the phone call. I was like, 'Oh sorry, wrong number'. But the guy put me on hold on the call, asking, 'Are you the son? Please ask your mum here!'

Ya, exactly, my Dad was involved in an accident and he was warded by the time I received the call. Quickly, my aunts, my mum and I rushed down to Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Along the journey, I felt my hands holding the handphone was sweat-drenched. My heart was worried and pain. I couldn't even cry out, no tears came out no matter how hard I tried. I guess that's the real sadness.

When I reached was around 10pm. Dad was lying on the bed unconsciously. I couldn't help but weeping. According to the doctor and the nurses, Dad was actually brain dead when they carried out the X-ray radiation. The doctor, to maintain his hearbeat to let the family see him, he used the aid of the apparatus to help Dad to breathe and injected some medicine in order to make the heart continue to beat.

Luckily, my brothers, one from Singapore and the other from Malacca managed to get back in time to see Dad. They reached the hospital at about 12am on Tuesday.

My aunts and mum couldn't bear the waiting and tiredness, so they followed my one of my aunts who is staying in KL back to her condo while three of us stayed there to accompany Dad.

Three of us took turns to take care of Dad who was lying on the bed in the Critical zone of the emergency department. I was too tired, I took a 40 winks at 2am. I was woke at 3 something when my brother told me Dad's pulse was dropping tremenduosly. Immediately, I called my aunt to fetch the other aunts and mum there at once.

Dad's pulse didn't seem any better. I guess he could hear us. When his pulse dropped below 20, we asked him to stand for a while because mum was on her way. His pulse suddenly raised to 20+. Once mum reached and comfort Dad to go peacefully, believe it or not, Dad's pulse immediately dropped to zero within one minute. That's the screen where we usually see on the televisyen when a person dies, a straight line appears. It was around 3.40am.

Dad needed to be sent for post-mortem. So, we went back to my aunt's condo to stay for a few hours. I totally didn't get any sleep. Couldn't, I couldn't. Tears dropped unceasingly.

In the morning, we went to make a report in order to claim Dad's body. At the hospital, due to the late sent-in of the police report, the post-mortem had been delayed. It started on 3pm instead of in the moning that day. We waited in the hospital from around 11am till we claimed the corpse.

Hearse was there also. We claimed Dad's body at around 4.30pm. He was being carried into the hearse and my brothers and I followed the hearse behind. Along the way, we shouted for Dad to go home with us. We reached Ipoh at about 7pm. Naked Dad was then being put on smart clothes. I couldn't help but crying every time I saw Dad!

Dad was then sent back to home. The ceremony will be on tonight and tomorrow night. The funeral will be on friday morning.

The cause of death was due to an accident. Dad was riding a bike-we suspected he didn't wear a helmet-when he rammed into a Vitara at Jalan Taiping in Kampung Baru, Sungai Buloh. The celeberum of his brain was hit brutally on the window of the car. The pillion rider was safe and he went nowhere to be found now.

Thanks for all my friends, my best friends who accompanied me all the while when I was so lost! Thanks for your help, everyone. Anyone who wants to come to pay my dad's last respect, you're mostly welcomed.

Adventurous Trip

Sok sok aka gou mui Toh Mean, Leng leng aka lan ren Wei Ching, and Zeng zeng aka da tou Chinn Hooi joined me for this adventurous ride.

We went to Tempurung Cave (again for me, twice within a week). Owing to shortage of time, we could only take the Top Of The World package, that's dry walking. Another group of four was asking us to join them for the wet package but we refused, they seemed like quite mad at us. Haha. We got a chance to walk on the stream when played the water. Not bad, only for 9 bucks. Haha. Three of them got super good imagination. They could imagine many many very extraodinary images. Haha.

We then went to Kampar to eat the famous curry chicken in the bread. Jin Ling. They bought many biscuits as souvenir and we got back to our table, we were startled when we saw the three plates of food on the table, were so big. We were so afraid that we couldn't finish all of them. To our surprise, we managed to finish the three plates till so clean and tidy. Haha. I guess we were too tired and all the food that we ate in the morning had already been digested when we walked in the cave.

The adventure had yet to end. We found out we were running out of time when we finished our lunch. So, I sped until very terrible. They were like riding a roller coaster back to the bus station. Thank God that we manage to reach the station and the bus was still waiting. I guess they did have a 'pleasant' stay in Ipoh. Haha. All the best my friends! Will be going to miss you guys!

Today, my friends came to find me in Ipoh, asking me to bring them around Ipoh. I brought them to have ba ku tea and then went to Tempurung cave and Kellie's castle. Thought both of these places are near Ipoh, I hadn't been to any of them, quite embarrassing. Those who joined were Ee San and Pooi Mun from Sungai Siput and Li Shan and Hui Xian from Johor.

There's one very 'extraordinary' phrase by Pooi Mun's friend, 'To be honest, not cheap to enter the cave' Haha!

毕业之歌

Graduation dinner

Everyone was flocking back from Matric yesterday. Too bad that our graduation night was not successfully held. So, we made a decision to hold our own graduation night.

I asked all those Matrician from Ipoh to have a dinner; a streamboat with barbeque at the restaurant in Bercham. We turned out to be the noisiest table and all the eyes on us every time we broke into laughter. We were so high till that we stood the whole while eating and barbequeing. We even wasted much food but we 'camouflaged' them under the bowl and soup. Haha.

Everything is over

I didn’t know why I felt so sad about leaving the college. I’d been waiting for this moment for so long. This eleven-month long pre-U was like a dream for me. I was like dreaming and now I woke up. How good if it were a dream, so I won’t be missing anyone.

Still remember vividly, the very first day when I stepped into this college, I was all alone without anyone whom I knew came in here. I started to live independently for the first time. At the evening, we were asked to gather at the field of the college. I dressed like a worker, so weird that time. No wonder everyone was looking so curiously at me. Honestly, I totally didn’t know any rule of the Malay communities that time.

After the gathering, all the non-Bumis were asked to gather at lecture hall two. This was where the game begun. I got to be the leader of the group right and that made me got to know many new friends and seniors. It was a tiring and torture orientation week for all the non-Malays. We needed to run for both, our practicum and also the moral lecture.

The disciplinary action taken during the moral lecture was a strict one. There’re a few seniors who ‘acted’ as discipline master but actually they did that on purpose, just to give us a surprise for those whose birthday were on that particular month, month of May. Every one was in tears when it came to the last orientation week. There’s a hugging session for us where every one started to weep and hug each other. We then lined on two sides, welcoming all of our facilitators out from the lecture hall. I missed them so much, especially Kok Hun, who taught me a lot of things.

There had been a very leisure year for me. I seldom studied until final or exam came. That’s why; it would be very difficult and hard for me during the study week. But thank God, every thing was over.

I missed the people here very much, particular all my friends.

Surprise!

After planning for about two weeks, the day had finally come. It was a preparation to celebrate one of my best friends' birthday. And so, we decided to give him a surprise.

There were two organisers; Jun Xian and I. I was responsible to contact all the other people outside Taylor's while ah Teh was being counted on to contact Hojun's friends in Taylor's.

On the evening itself, he really did get shock, I guess according to him when seeing Fatt Chi, me and his group of friends celebrating with him. Haha. His 'good' classmates pushed him down the pool and I pasted the SECRET RECIPE cake on his face. I was no better than Choong Ai. She even picked out slice by slice to paste it on Hojun's whole face, making him an Idian boy. Haha.


Drizzling yet didn't seem to give it in.

Later then we moved to Yen's steamboat restaurant, some where behind Sunway Pyramid to continue our celebration and for our dinner. It was my first time to celebrate birthday with my friends eating steamboat. Haha. Anyway, that child Fatt Chi always wanted to eat ice-cream. The most crucial part of the restaurant was the fried chicken wing. Accordingly, it was VERY popular and after 3 seconds ( said by Choong Ai) the whole tray of chicken wings would be gone. Thanks for ah Teh who inadventently successful in grabbing us a plate of them. Actually, it's not as tasty as what they had been fighting for, though.

Oh ya, the present. Hojun's classmates gave him a 'rolex'(according to ah Teh. but actually is casio) watch and ex-Sam Tetian gave him a MU nike shirt. Besides, we bought him a secret recipe chocolate indulgence cake (his favourite according to his sister) and sang him birthday song, together with all the others in the restaurant. Surprisingly, after we sang him the birthday song, few other tables also singing birthday song, I wonder how come so many people's birthday on the same day, or they just wanted to copy us to stir up the atmosphere. Who cares, anyway. Haha. Then, we made a toast and others followed, as usual. Haha. So many copy cats.



The funniest part was the gun-mouth Choong Ai. I was so impressed by what came out from her mouth, it was like I was paying for a humurous movie show. Few of us laughed unceasingly till my stomach was so pain. I felt pity for Danny, her boy friend, who had to pratise his fake smile in front of the mirror everyday.

Lastly, there were some leftovers of the cake. No one could finish it. The most interesting thing was that we were actually using spoon to eat the cake. Haha. So messy.
